Testing the Waters at STARWEST 2016

As a Platinum sponsor, we’ve got high hopes for STARWEST 2016 in Anaheim this year. We looked at the schedule and it’s full of information and sessions related to DevOps, load testing, and everything Apica as a company stands behind to ensure companies maintain a high-speed, well-run website.

During the pre-conference program, we came across this session from Oct2-3rd, Integrating Test with a DevOps Approach. In the write-up it states, “Automated testing an essential ingredient that is integrated in the process in every step and relied upon for enforcement of quality gates and to ensure overall delivery quality.”

It’s mandatory for companies today to have the most efficient testing capabilities as they balance software development with the consumer quality demands. Load testing is more important than ever now for any company with an online presence. Your online presence is usually the first point-of-contact for 47% of consumers they expect a page to load within 2 seconds.

Most companies don’t even know their website isn’t loading quickly. If you’re a DevOp, eCommerce Manager or someone involved with your website’s performance check out this webinar Troy Presley, Solutions Engineer at Apica did on Load Testing Best Practices: 3 Tests Every Company Should Run. If you’re interested in learning more, Troy will be doing a more in-depth presentation on each of these use-cases on Wednesday, October 5th from 11:30-12:30PM.

Be sure to stop by booth 18 at the conference for a chance to win an Amazon Echo. We’re also doing a fun contest with STARWEST attendees – We’re inviting you to enter your homepage URL and see how fast you page loads. A leader board will be up for the whole conference, so you can see how your site performs. We will also have t-shirts, stickers and an awesome team of Apica employees who want to meet you.
