LoadTest SelfService
With Apica LoadTest SelfService you can perform load tests over time and compare the results in a pay-as-you-go model. Create your own scripts, run them in the portal, store them in the repository, and then compare results and create reports.The portal is accessed through a typical browser, so it’s not necessary to download or use any local software. You can upload, create, and load test scripts via the portal and select different geographic test clusters to run your test from. The LoadTest Portal provides everything necessary for you to create, test, and analyze the capacity and performance of your web and cloud applications. You pay either per hour, day based on how large test you like to perform.
Script support
You can create your own tailor-made scripts directly in the web interface using three different methods:
- Point-and-click: Enter up to three URLs and test instantly, no programming needed.
- Upload Selenium IDE script: They are then converted and run without any programming.
- Use ProxySniffer: Create advanced scripts or upload existing ones. Full support for dynamic variable handling.
It is easy to set your preferences and get detailed reports of technical as well as management data. Schedule your load tests in order to measure performance trends over time. With the push of a button, get PDSs of detailed graphs and reports that enable you to compare results and performance against an index. You can drill down to URL-level details in order to identify errors.
Selenium
With this open-source Firefox plugin, you can easily record, edit, and save your own script. You record a click sequence on the site in order to simulate real user behavior, such as making a purchase, booking a flight, logging on to a website, etc. Play back and edit the sequence before saving it and using it in the Apica LoadTest SelfService.
Apica ProxySniffer With the professional load testing tool, the advanced tester can create dynamic scripts with variable handling. Normal web pages, web services, and mobile applications can be recorded and tested. Scripts can run locally for up to 20 concurrent users. For larger volumes, Apica SelfService offers pay-as-you-go options, starting from $6 per hour.
Get the inside view
Apica LoadTest lets you access vital signs in your web, application, or database infrastructure by using Apica’s lightweight local monitoring agents, Amazon or AppDynamics values via the portal, for both Windows and Linux platforms. You’ll be able see accurate graphical correlations between vital signs on the inside and end-user response times, which will give you additional insight to locate the pain points that restrict performance. With the results from your load test, you can identify all of the bottlenecks in your applications. Apica provides full support for load testing different types of deployment configurations. Comparing different setups is now made easier through the use of our web GUI and the ready-to-use agents.
